Much about Andy Prime is unknown. He was born in Scotland but has no discernible accent, possibly a result of attending several universities.  His original surname is unknown, but he can be traced back to being a member of various organisations such as the Fellowship of the New Life and the Fabian Society, as well as a connection to the League of Nations, but ultimately, he became frustrated by the pace of change and the lack of real influence. His mentor, Francis Galton, introduced him to eugenics, and he was briefly involved in setting up the Galton Laboratory however he had already begun his one work looking at human chemical, genetic and mechanical enhancement.

Andy Prime dresses in late victorian style clothing, he sees no point following fashion or wasting time looking at new trends being a recluse.  He is bald and sports a well kept beard.

He’s just over 5ft3, a little rotund, and does not keep fit, though looks well for a man over a 150 years old! He’s an academic and scientist and has no interests in sport and little in art bar science fiction for ‘ideas’.

He is complicated, duplicitous, and lacks any empathy.  He believes the end justifies the means and all that matters is the improvement of mankind and the fellowship of the earth, and later other planets, into a united human empire devoid of unnecessary emotions.  ‘Humans are a very replenishable resource, we should make good use of them’ he once said to Cross.

Special abilities

Long lived: Andy has managed to find ways to slow down and reverse his ageing process via various scientific methods, including deep coma-like sleep, infusions of modified shark blood, forced acidic skin peeling and other techniques which caused him great discomfort at first but has since lost all sense of physical pain.

Genius: Andy is a genuine polymath with a deep understanding of all sciences.  He also has an encyclopedic knowledge of spiritual beliefs and magic, or undiscovered science, as he calls it.

Hive mind: Andy has access to all his clones minds to use to expand his own and as an extension of himself.  The Hive mind is a common area shared by all Andy clones who are in close proximity to one another and can increase skills such as problem solving though no emotional information is shared.
